This light installs into the ground easily and as long as it is placed well gets enough sunlight to operate in my area. I do wish it was slightly taller so that the light with spread out and cover more area, but it's good!
The switch to change modes doesn't work. It comes on
When it's dark, but it won't turn off and I can't switch it to sensor mode. It's not terribly bright. But, it does automatically come on at dark.
Have at the top of my driveway for the moment. When it gets enough sun, the nighttime light is perfect for being able to see. It's doing well out in the weather elements currently (it's experienced rain and snow so far). A great value with easy setup.
I put this solar light at the base of my stairs entering from the driveway and it is perfect. It shines a light glow but when the sensor senses motion it shines bright and lights up the whole landing. It is hard to gauge how long the charge lasts because it is light out when I leave the house but I've gotten home very late and it came on fine. The set up was easy, you just have to snap the pieces together. It is definitely sturdy and feels like it will hold up well to weather.
I've been needing to get some extra lighting for the pathway into my home, so I was happy to try the Techko Outdoor Triangle Solar Pathlight with Motion Sensor in exchange for my honest review. Currently, the ground is too frozen for me to place this in the ground, so I rested it against the railing near the entrance of my home. I let it charge in the sun for a few days. Even with the directions, I found the switch to turn the Pathlight on to be a little difficult, hence why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Once on, the LED was nice and bright and covered a good section. I would be interested in purchasing more.
