I liked the farmhouse design and ease of operation when using this solar lantern. An easy on and off switch is on top. The flickering flame looks realistic, providing a cozy ambience. With all parts plastic, there isnt the concern of glass panels shattering. Since it is waterproof, I will use this on my deck, as well as in my living room. The 8 height and 5 width is just the ideal size !
This solar light is very cute and the little tip of the light moves to make it look like a real flame. Its been outside for a while and is working well still through the elements. The battery works very well and lasts through the night and a lot of the day
Charges slowly. I find the switch difficult to use. It's also extremely light and gets blown around by relatively low winds.
But it is nice on the porch in the evening. It does unfortunately also attract bugs in the evening.

This is a great candle light that has a flickering motion to make it look like a real candle. I left it out for 24hours before turning on and it worked right away. Its not super bright but lets off light just as a candle would.
I really like this little solar lantern. It is bright, moves like a real candle, is easy to set up to use, and is made of durable materials.
When I first opened the box, I was a little disappointed with the clarity of the case. It is not glass or a completely clear plastic but has more of a thick, slightly cloudy transparency. However, at night, that quality casts a warm slightly yellow area of light. It is quite pretty and makes me think of a light from a fire.
There is a door to the candle. There isnt anything to press or adjust on the candle itself, but there are screws on the bottom holding it in place. I believe its there to replace the candle if needed. The shape itself is pretty basic, nothing fancy. The value is ok, maybe a bit on the higher end.
The controls are on the top. I clicked the switch to Auto so that it will only go on when it gets dark. I put it in the yard in the morning, and it came on full force at 7:40p. Sunset was at 7:25p.
There must be magnets or something that cause the flame to dance like a real flame.
I am very happy to have this lantern for the warm weather seasons.
