Keep your children safe with the Techko S189 Slim Safe Pool Alarm. This alarm monitors gates, doors, windows, and any other entryway to your pool. The alarm is compliant with UL 2017 safety standards & is designed to be kept out of reach of children, so you will be alerted whenever the pool is accessed.

The alarm features a high-output 110 decibel alarm siren that sounds whenever the magnetic contact is broken. Adults can easily enter/exit from both sides by using the two included bypass buttons, temporarily disabling the alarm for 10 seconds.

This alarm also features a patented secondary sensor, designed to be used with sliding doors that have a complementary screen door. When secondary sensor is installed, the alarm will only trigger when both the screen & glass doors are opened, allowing you to keep your glass door propped open to let in the breeze.

(Please note that the secondary sensor cannot be used to double up as an additional alarm another entry point, ie. you will need one alarm per door/window)

This alarm is certified by ETL, a 3rd-party testing lab, and is approved under UL 2017 standards for pool inspections.

Worked for our new place, great start to the year

Pool door and window alarms.

Alarms pass Florida pool codes. Look modern. UL 2017 stamped on back. Would be better if stamped on front. Better if came with plastic insert and screw for wall mount.

Passed inspection in Massachusetts

I purchased four of these and they all work fine. I used command strips to stick the main unit to the wall and painters tape cut into small double-sided strips to stick the sensors and extra bypass switch. I did this so I can remove everything without damaging the wall. My doors are not on the same plane as the interior wall because there is moulding around all of the doors. This makes it a little tricky to place the sensor wired to the unit, but fortunately there is enough "allowable gap" in the sensor's sensitivity that it was not a problem for me. The alarm is very loud and cycles through different sirens. I was concerned about passing a town inspection (strict pool rules in a town near Boston, MA) but these units were fine. I don't intend to use these regularly but if I did my one complaint is that the wire to the extra bypass button / switch is very short, as are the wires for the extra pair of sensors. So much so that I couldn't set it up to be used on the screen doors. If you want something that is going to work on the main door AND a screen door, these may not work in all circumstances. Otherwise they served the purpose I needed.

Had to have it

Not the easiest to use. If I didn't need this type of alarm to get past inspection, I wouldn't use it. I don't like that you can turn it off and alarm will go off ever time you ope. The door unless you press a button.

Very loud. A little confusing to install

But good alarm! The stickies it comes with arenâ€™t strong enough to hang it on wall though, might want to plan on getting your own
