Solar Candle Vintage Hanging Lantern

I've been looking for the perfect centerpiece for my outdoor table and finally found it! I do have an overhang over my balcony so the area does not get all day full sun. The balcony area faces west so once the sun comes around, that is when it gets recharged but that seems to be all it needs! I really like that there are solar panels on three sides of the lantern so as the sun moves around in the sky, the lantern doesn't have to be turned to get exposure. The flickering light is realistic and I love that I don't have batteries to keep replacing. The sides are made of plastic, I wish they were glass, as I hope the plastic doesn't fade or get cloudy. For the price, it is a GREAT little lantern.

Ive had this lantern hung on a post in my garden, uncovered, for several days now. It is set to automatic mode and it has come on each night within a couple of minutes of when my regular landscape lights, which are on their own light sensor. Its usually shortly after sunset. I dont know how long it stays on but its at least several hours and long enough that I havent seen it turn off.

The lantern looks nice enough. Up close, you can very clearly see that it is all plastic, including the windows. But for something that will left outside and exposed that isnt necessarily a bad thing. I wish the plastic was clearer.

The one thing I really dont care for is the positioning of the switch and the very large branding in bold white print, right on top of the lantern. I have it positioned so I mostly cant see it but its obnoxious and detracts largely from the aesthetic. I dont see why the switch couldnt be positioned on the underside of the lantern and/or all of these practical elements be made much more subtle.

This is a beautiful and unique lantern. I rarely see solar lanterns with the Flameless candle inside. Its so beautiful and bright at night. My aunt can see it from her window and loves the way it looks. Its ver way to set up and the quality is excellent. You simply turn the switch on and make sure it gets plenty of sun. Mine stays on for several hours, which is quite impressive for a solar product. This is a great value for the money. If youre trying to make the switch from battery operated to solar and rechargeable, this is a great start to your collection. Attractive lantern with the flameless candle all ready to go. The solar panels are on 3 sides of the top, which is a great idea as its able to absorb sunlight from different angles. You can turn it on or offand you can have it on auto and it will come on when its dark. . Longevity of the light that it emits depends on the strength of the chargefor a full sunny day it will obviously last longer.
The ivory candle is a pretty contrast to the black lantern. Nice looking accent for any porch, walkway, patio etc.

This Techko Outdoor Solar Flickering Candle Lantern is really beautiful. The the flicker on the candle looks pretty realistic if your not up close to it, and it is a beautiful accent piece. When I opened the box, my first impression was that the glass is not real glass, but is plastic and is a little cloudy looking. I didn't notice this in the listing photos, so I took another look at the listing, and sure enough you can see the plastic in the listing photos. This was not real obvious to me when I saw the listing but it is something that you should be aware of before purchase. Although the plastic is a little cloudy upon inspection, when this is outside it is not very noticeable unless you are inspecting the lantern close up. This lantern is really beautiful, especially at night when it is lit up, and the plastic cloudiness actually lends to the warmth and glow of the flicker and the light. I love the farmhouse feel of the lantern as it lends to the ambiance and surrounding decor.

I didn't see any measurements on the listing, so I measured the lantern. The lantern measures about 11.5 inches high and about 4.75 inches wide. It is the perfect size for any table, and also looks fabulous on the ground beside a planter full of flowers. The great thing about this lantern is that it is solar powered, so you are not going to constantly be replacing batteries! This is something I now look for in every outdoor decor purchase. If I can save some money on batteries, that is a huge plus for me!

I did knock off one star because I see a wire up against the outside of the candle when it's lit up. I can actually just turn the candle around to keep it out of sight. I'm sure this is just a tiny defect in the way the candle was put together, but it is somewhat noticeable and worth mentioning. Overall, this is a beautiful lantern and I will really enjoy having it on my patio this summer.
