I did not think the plastic body would hold up to the NY seasons, but these lamps have not cracked or faded for several years.

This is a great lantern for outside. It is great because you can get it to work without batteries just by the sun. That is a great way to save the environment and is easy to put up. The lanter us big and sturdy.

I am impressed that the smallest size is so effective. The amber light is a soft light that accents the decorations I have in the area. It has also withstood some strong winds that tend to swirl around in the backyard.
